An overview of the catalog of trail photographer Glenn Tachiyama’s 20 years of photos uncovers gaps in his own family’s scrapbooks, but his archive offers proof of the kind of fortitude, collaboration and joy imbued in the spirit of long journeys and small steps. In Glenn’s story and work, we are provided evidence that the difficult chapters of the past and our current crises can be met with hope and determination, girded by community. This celebration of endurance runners and the great outdoors features the magnificent Pacific Northwest, in all four glorious seasons, elegantly framed by Glenn.
